The "Send to Amazon" workflow has changed. Here is how to navigate it without unexpected placement fees.
1. Avoiding Placement Fees
Amazon now charges you for "Optimal split" unless you ship to 4+ locations. You have two options:
- Option A: Ship to 1 Warehouse. Pay high placement fees. (Good for speed).
- Option B: Ship to 5 Warehouses. No placement fees. (Good for margin).
2. Labeling
Ensure your "Carton Labels" are on the outside of the box and unobscured by tape. Amazon robots scan these automatically.
