If 100% of your sales come from Amazon, your multiple is capped at 3x. Launch a Shopify store or expand to Walmart to push that multiple to 4-5x.
2. Build a Moat
Anyone can source from Alibaba. Real value comes from:
- Patents: Design or Utility patents.
- Community: An email list of 10k+ customers.
- Branding: Custom molds, not just a logo slap.
3. Clean Financials
Accrual accounting is non-negotiable. If you are running your business on a cash basis, start converting your books now.
